The humerus is remarkable for the great development of the supinator ridge.

In the Beaver on the other hand the deltoid and supinator ridges are considerably developed.

Here the artery lies in the interval between the supinator longus and the pronator radii teres.

Here the vessel is more superficial, lying in the groove between the flexor carpi radialis and supinator longus.

Deeply situated at the region of the elbow, the short supinator has little interest for us.
